just beautiful! pakai tele kan?usually tele ada macro features...cuma lens design tele macam ni menyebabkan kurang sikit IQ berbanding dengan proper macro. so sebelum pakai macro lens "tele-macro" macam sigma 70-300mm pun ok!

suka dragonfly tuu! for 3rd picture...kalau pakai aperture kecik lagi around f/8 mesti sharp lagi

Culture : " Hungry Ghost Festival "

" The Horsewomen "
-------------

The Taoists believed that on the Chinese's seventh lunar month, the "Gates Of Hell" are opened and the dead spirits return to visit their living relatives and roaming the earth. The spirits come down to earth by riding at the back of the horses leading by the 'care taker'.

Note : For more images of the festival can be seen at http://wha787.fotopages.com

Unpublished Entry ??

Unpublished Entry
Info Of Pix
The Pix
-------

My unpublished entry dated 22nd July 2006 and the best is when I went to fotowarung.com yesterday, I found it similiar concept to Abang Bazuki, our great Reuters photojournalist recent works dated 23rd July. He jobs can be seen at http://www.fotowarung.com/2006/07/23/recentworks-bm-asean-meeting/ For me, it is just a coincidence thing with the God will. But for me, he jobs is superb and everyone try to make his photos as an inspiration.

Nature : The Hunting Of Kingfisher

The hunting of kingfisher is still on for me, as I still not satisfy with the final result. The picture is unsharp and the bottom of the picture is being crop away to remove unwanted grass. Even the colour of the feather is not rich as suppose to be for this type of bird and the purple fringing (chromatic aberration) is can be seen surrounding the main subject. This picture captured at padi field of Sungai Panjang, 5km from Sungai Besar, Sabak Bernam on 9th July 2006.

hhmmm caman burung ni baik sangat n dok diam jek waktu nak amik gambar dia...
the photographer mst ada high passion n patient nihhhh

Book said...." a good wildlife photograph is one that portrays the animal best, in its nature habitat and ambience, living its natural life. Capturing its moments, character and mood with good composition, colour fidelity, lighting, tonal delineation and tonal harmony make it infinitely better "

The question arise here by other is how to make the background dark ? There is an answer by Mr David Peterson, the author of Digital Photography Secrets on 18th June 2006 to me..

" It's more about lighting. Make sure the background is much lower lit than the foreground. Or another way you can do it is to drape some black cloth in the background (heeeeee)".

He can be visited at http://www.digital-photo-forum.com . But this is just one of the way by him how to make it. I will be back with others technique that I learn from other photographers soon.

There is another tips by Mr Ken Rockwell of http://www.kenrockwell.com how to make the background dark.

Flash photography is one of the technique to get dark background effect. There are two primary causes for a dark background in flash photography : flash-background distance and the exposure mode

But how to do it...he never told me on his email. Maybe anyone out there can help ?

And this is the answer taken from En Azli fotopages (thank you Bros Azli). He can be visited thru http://azlijamil.fotopages.com

First you set both your camera and flash to wireless. Then, you change the shutter to be as fast as possible for flash use (in D70s it is 1/500) and the ISO to be as low as possible. Set the aparture to 5.6, hold the flash with your left hand at a side lighting position (careful that you don't cover the wireless sensor) and take a shot. If the background isn't dark enough, decrease the size of the aparture. I'm still experimenting with this form of Creative Lighting System.

And I belived there is another technique how to make dark background. Let we were explore together for other technique.

Hi Ezuddin, thanks for the tips from your study. I like the shot with 'Shade' WB. More umph! But I would 'erase' off the few yellow blobs at the background. Sun 2-Jul-2006 09:19

Comparing these 3 shots, I kinda like the 2nd one.. With just one look, the first and second shots doesn't look any different. But my eyes tells me that the first pic is rather brighter than the second.. Macam too yellow gitu. Sun 9-Jul-2006 05:24
