Cash Crop : A cars drives past an oil palm estate near Sabak Bernam, 160km north west of Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia Barber : A customer waiting for his hair to be cut at a barber shop in Puchong, 30km south of Kuala Lumpur on December 3, 2007. Traditional barber shops in Malaysia are on the decline today due to the competition from Unisex hair saloons. Apart from declining business these shops are also facing a shortage of barbers, as nowdays Malaysians are not interested in becoming barbers. But, a few authentic barbers shops, usually manned by grizzled old Indian gentlemen are still around with some modern touch. The mirror are bigger, brighter, cleaner and it no longer stuffy hot as air-conditioners are must but the music play is really a same as old days either Hindustani or Tamil song.
